Will patience hold for reading what is already written - we report all safe and not blinded by the Blizzard but the story of suffering is doleful. Enter Miss Lille Austin; ¼ before 9.oclock, with a young-gent. to enquire if we know any thing of José? - but we would like very much to know about our Charley - he did not come this Saturday to Will', office so you see; we are in great doubt Fulton Ferry has not been interferd [[interfered]] with. Emma L spent Thursday night with us, but she has told her own story, in a letter. Those two "Innocents" have been kindly cared for. Uncle Will was much pleased to get a letter from May - we are thinking about our Monday morning letter. Uncle Will sends so many messages Papers by the dozens..... keep you busy with replies - how is your School do the masters give you a pat on the back now and then - better show them the sweet note from Mrs D. about time & money wasted

I hope you have seen Rev McAully of the Mission Church - I have a picture of him in my Almanack now dear Leilie, with love to May good night kiss from Grandma

Aunt Emily and Uncle Will have you to Jarvis' soirée at the Acad. of Fine Arts. The Boston Symphony Orchestra are said to be somewhere between here and Boston, they were to have played here on Tuesday evening! I hope they did not get their fingers frozen any how. People suffered terribly in the cold cars - hungry, tired, cold and wretched. But I will not quite fill up my letter with this distressing topic though I could write a volume easily, without exhausting the subject. No doubt all your correspondents are eloquent on the same - varied with allusions to Kaiser Wilhelm's funeral and his son's health.

How did you enjoy the cake? Aunt E. made some molassy cake today equally perfect. She has been busier than ever for I have had such a bad eye this week that I can not use it for sewing, or reading. Writing does not hurt it much but I may as well stop now.
