Sunday - Oct. 14-

Once more in Paris - my dearest sister - and I hardly like to write today because we are in a good deal of a fix and as it may turn out all right it is a pity to plague you before hand and so far away -

We got here on Friday night had a jolly trip all the first part of the time. Hoeber left us at Rennes where we stayed over night. Radcliffe stopped there with us and we left the next morning - awfully slow train and all the rest of the journey a bore - but found Ville de Villeneuve expecting us one room ready and every thing nice much nicer than before. Mr Harrison came a few stations down with us - came to our house in the morning before we left to see if he could do anything for us and

us was to have it with us - We there went all over the part of Paris we want to be in yesterday and could find nothing that could do - Benjamin would never go where she could'nt be comfortable and I am sure no place she would be suited with can be found - In fact we did'nt see anything I would take - as we will not take sleeping rooms dark and damp on the ground floor. Deadly little dens - quite impossible. I must have a studio this winter and dont want to go off to some remote part of Paris far from all my friends especially Lasar and Harrison whose [[__?]] I am so anxious to retain. They are over in the Latin quarter and I should like to be anywhere in the Luxembourg quarter rue Notre Dame des champs - rue d'assas anywhere around there (see map). If Miss Wright dont join us
