Here is a piece of Cecil's winter coat & cap - trimmed with narrow beaver fur - he will look as much as Jamie did some years ago as possible, only the cap is a hood with white ruffle in side. I have had a fight with the coat. The boy is now running in the street with his Mattie, a broom in one hand - it is a glorious breezy sunny day, & the children, Mabel & Johnny Lange etc, are playing with him - can you fancy the change since the year ago when you left the little baby? I am getting into a Xmas vortex. Wish I were more lucky, then it would be fun. I need not say how precious your letters are always— What joy to think of all you are seeing—! It is well I cannot go, for I would never have the strength. I will write on Tuesday, so no more this time, but merriest of Xmases & I hope you will go & hear the music in some church.
Your own Sister.
