Dearest Polly -

Today you begin at Juliens - It is so nice to know ahead what you are doing and think about it when the time comes. Mary Field told me yesterday in the cars that she had just heard from Amy Waugh from Paris, & she said Ida was doing [[?]] well - had had [[?]] four times for composition at Juliens. I thot to myself, maybe after the 1st of Feb. she would be home - tho' I did not express my thots in words. Curious if you should go all the way to Paris to compete with a girl who lives around the corner at home! I have not been to the Exhib yet, this was not a [[frishing?]] week, so I won't until Sept. I was going to the Junior Ball tonight
