disappointed that you all so disapprove of my coming back here. Of course I did it for the money cheifly, but I also thought it would be so nice to leave a name behind. As you know by this time our living here only costs us not quite $4.00 a week - but my Doctor's bill will count up some of course - and this I could not anticipate - especially as Welsh Rabbit etc did'nt affect me when I was here before - but then I didn't add cherries. I have taken a lot of bad medicine a compound I believe of Pears soap - salt and water and pepper. And am now quite restored - but I have lost nearly a weeks time Miss Reynolds is awfully kind and they have all done all they could. I drew Mr Darwin a while on Saturday afternoon and today pretty little Mrs Horace came with gowns etc and I posed her. She is a little mousie creature, and poses in a grandmothers brocaded dress, very delicate and pretty - green and silver, with lace around her neck - white lacy background. I shall have her, mornings, and Mr D. afternoons so I ought to be able to pat them Theaga through pretty fast, as we have no distractions to interrupt us. We see the D's all the time of course
