in order to let you see this is just the spot for Sis. Send her over, here she will grow fat and happy Also you can give his address to all friends coming over. If recommended they can stay here for a week at a time. Mr. Wendte the Pitbuis [[??]] do tell them for me things are home like here. Now for account [[??]] of work. Each afternoon of this last week I have been painting up the River. The last three have been painting in company with the an I met there before. He paints well. He is a membre of the Chambre of Deptus Depinties [[??]]. Representing the distriction which each day we paint. The last afternoon his daughter appeared on the field of action with a large bottle of wine and bread. It was cold. The wine was welcome. We laughed at my French and had a good time. The daughter kept hunting in my pocket dictionary for words to express our ideas. I thought of you at the time - and smiled to think how you would have laughed - at the sight of little Willy painting beside a great politican - and trying to talk to a halfway pretty girl in French. It has rained for two days. But when again it clears I shall see more of our stateman painter and daughter. Madame Leque on seeing his card, said he was an important figure of the socialistic party, and I would do well to make his acquaintance. I am lucky in making friends. I study now in the evening at Colorrosin under Colini Love to every one but most to you and for you
