My dear Father
I received today one hundred dollars from you and thank you for the same 
My work is nearly finished here and after spending a week (in the middle of May) in London with the Fiords' I shall sail for home
I should like to have another picture in Munich and London, but have at present a good deal to be thankful for. Received a postal from Berlin saying my picture "An Ancient Mariner" had arrived in time 
I am working with Steven in my studio
