I received your allowance, and am thankful for same - One hundred dollars, by not lending and economizing is enough in this city - When I first came here I was surprised at finding this was true, and it proved to me that I had been horribly thoughtless with the boys of the 'Quarter' - I am going to make my way here and feel that it
