My dear Father

I received yesterday one hundred dollars from you. -and also the Mayflower papers. I am very anxious to relieve you from this great kindness and am hoping for some success in the next month or so. After my work of this month I am going at black and white again and hope to do a lot during the summer. About going across to see you all, I feel that perhaps next Fall if I can earn the money myself (by that time) I should like to make the trip then. I was sorry to have missed the mail yesterday but should write a good letter tomorrow to mother. I am very busy - Working and that is all except a few calls.

Love to all and many thanks
William

Glad to see Mother is using ink in her letters to me. You have both sent me this last week two fine letters.
