sees things in a rather ordinary way. His works look very common. Walker [[strikethrough]] is [[/strikethrough]] was a wonder. His color is rich, his values perfect, and his drawing faultless. Looking at his works one would naturally think they were painted, not by a slight delicate man but a strong impulsive, beefy man. He lived a short time but will live long in the memories of those who have seen his work- A great work leaves a clear, deep impressio on the mind. Sargent's, and this Walker's work are refreshing for this reason. I received much benefit from the show. There was a great marine there painted by [[strikethrough]] Albert G [[/strikethrough]] Henry Moore.
