My dear Mother -

As I write tonight in a café near my studio I am surprised by seeing Mc walk in the door. He is out, and left my place yesterday - I am to have my studio disinfected by the police board or something or rather tomorrow.

I was registered by the police today it cost me two dollars. They inquired all about you dear friends. Even wanted to know my mother's name And those of my children.

Saturday I received a letter from Miss Wells.

Father writes he should like to know what my impressions were of Miss Wells. These are they - I think she is intellectual, beautiful, and entertaining.
