My studio is getting to look like a picture shops stretchers canvases and paint tubes hold a prominent place and cause a strong odor - 
I shall keep away from my studio half-a day for a week - and not overwork my next study of the old man.
About my future. It is well to become connected with London and perhaps some one of my acquaintances might get me some orders. You [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] know how much I like London and how I dislike the climate. The dark days &e - There are many starving artists in London and Paris. But I should never starve - If it came to a pinch I could rely on Mr. Ford's getting me illustrating to do. I am in favor of trying London - I could easily spend a month here and bunk up with my English friend Murray. He is very enthusiastic over the plan. But wait - things will solve themselves the future is not so important as the next month -
I want to paint a picture at home. Studying the subject in Cambridge Museum - Are you going to spend the summer at home? I hope so.
