Cornwall, N. Y. Dear Grace went for a drive this P.M. just got back I am not quite well, feel less like myself than ever. Your letter came this morning. Do not know what to say, everything seems muddled in my mind. To say that I'm sorry will express my feeling perhaps most clearly. E-9-?-10

Since you have known me, you say that your health has been ruined and you have been most unhappy. I wonder if you know what it is to feel that one has been the cause of such an injury to another? This it seems as I see facts that I am guilty of, tho it is not intentional that you have been injured by me. I don't know what to say so I'll wait and see what fate has in store for us.

Transcription Notes:
Is this meant to be the back of the postcard, where the ink of the letter has bled through? Should we match up the writing on this page to the previous page(the front side of the letter), or just mark it as the back of the card. Don't think it's bled through, the postcard has just been scanned twice. Copied transcription from previous scan and marked for review.
