My dear friend, E9-9-10
Just received and read your letter written on the 3rd, It arouses my admiration of you and makes me deeply regret your dissapointment [[disappointment]] of the other night. You certainly are worth more sympathy and love that I have ever shown you. If it were only possible for me to be responsive to you when you most need it, then my present feeling would become realization. Perhaps sometime I can make you happy. It is one of my great desires. The thought that death may part me from you with-out having accomplished this, would make dying a dispair [[despair]] to me.
