You see I worked a little for myself this summer. Got one commision and did some illustrations which of course I did not sell. But the publishers were pretty incouraging. But I felt the need of good hard tight drawing & knowledge of anatomy. And you know I could find no better place than here for both of those. Dont you think I'm right? At first I could hardly stand the school. An awful shock on the nerves after the easy going academy. But the Acd. is too much that way so I feel that this school will do me a wonderful lot of good.
