BONAIR, SEABRIGHT.

My dear Mrs Allen

Your nice letter came a day or so ago & was very welcome. It is so good of you to ask us to stay with you when John goes on to Pittsburg & if you are quite sure it will not over tire you to have us we are going to accept with pleasure. James I fear cannot come with us. I am afraid of the long night journey for him & I am also unwilling to take him away from his grandparents even for a day or two. It is hard even for me
