Dear Sir:

I have the honor to advise you that a DIPLOMA of a Gold MEDAL has been awarded you on your exhibit of [[squiggly line]] -Oil Paintings- [[squiggly line]] at this Exposition. The Diploma, stating the terms of award, as above, will be forwarded to you as soon as it can be properly prepared. Please advise me to what address the same should be sent, and whether your name is correctly stated above. A failure to reply to this inquiry by JANUARY 1, 1902, will be considered as notification that the Diploma is not desired. 

THE GORHAM MANUFACTURING CO., Broadway and 19th Street, NEW YORK CITY, have been granted the exclusive privilege for furnishing the Medals in Gold, Silver, and Bronze, at the following prices:

Gold Medal, 24 carats fine.....................$175.00
Gold Plated Medal..............................   3.00
Silver Medal, Sterling 925/100 fine............   5.00
Bronze Medal...................................   1.50

It is understood that exhibitors who have received Diplomas of Gold and Silver Medals may purchase copies of the same in Bronze. 

Should you desire to secure the Medal awarded you, please communicate directly with the above-mentioned firm.
