he does not expect to be sent overseas- as the War Dept- seem to favor sending men who had not been over there- & he hoped to be here either July or August. 
I have had no reply from Ewing Baker - in answer to my inquiries about the Nat. Art Commission publication she saw - I so hoped to hear that the matter was made public - & I could write to Denver about it. 
I have had no news from you since your postal. writtin on the day you expected to dine with Mr White.  Am so anxious for further news.  & to hear if you had learned anything
