I am interested in this. For nearly 20 years I have interested in religious work among churches in Western Massachusetts and beyond and have made much and valuable use of the stereopticon with slides presenting religious subjects. Especially I have used Tissoth's scenes on the life of Christ. I have probably about 100 of these, colored and very servicable. I have been here at this institution and am an intimate[[ate]] friend of the president. It occurs to me that you may have work on religious subjects which might be introduced through the stereopticon to the colored students in the college here & to similar Christian and missionary institutions in the South.

I have of course been in touch with Mr. McNeil ever since and rather often have been at his house and in his studio.
I am here now, and have been for other former years in the South-land; and this and last year I have shared a two months vacation in a negro student Straight College, New Orleans. Where 450 or more students of all grades up to college. This year I had for a man table companion an instructor trained in a college in New York, who had a passion for art and apparently some art gift. He is acquainted with your work and much interested in you. He is a colored man. He told me that in later years you had given attention to religious subjects.
