June 22, 1926.

Mr. Henry O. Tanner,
51 Boulevard St. Jacques,
Paris, France.

Dear Mr. Tanner:

I was delighted to receive your recent letter dated June 4th. I was of course, sorry to know that you have received no encouragement from the Rev. Mr. Anderson relative to payment in full or a substantial payment on account of your contract. Since you have sent me an exact copy of the contract and as well the bas relief, which has not as yet arrive, I shall not lose any further words concerning the balance due you, but shall institute suit immediately and send the papers for you to execute.

I also wish to acknowledge receipt of your check in the amount of forty dollars ($40.00) to cover the expense of shipping and the invoice.

We are sorry that you arennot able to make the trip to this Country this Spring, as we had hoped that you would remain with us a long time to recover your health.

Mrs. Mossell and Sadie are very well. Sadie has just finished her second year in Law and has done very creditable work.

Mrs. Mossell took a trip West this spring and visited your sisters Bell and Bertha, both of whom are well. She came back to Philadelphia feeling all the better for the trip.

Sincerest regards to you and your son, Jesse for the health and happiness of both.

Very truly yours,
Raymond
