Field Columbian Museum, Chicago.

May 15, 1901.

Mr. Geo. H. Pepper,
American Museum of Natural History,
Central Park,
New York City.

My dear Pepper:-
If you are not on my list it is owing to carelessness or neglect on my part. I have sent you a copy of my Hopi paper and if you will send me a list of such papers of mine as you already have I will see that you get a full set of the reprints of my papers. You may name also, please, what copies of the Director's report you already possess that I may have your set made complete. Am sorry that stress of routine work has prevented me from attending to these matters sooner.

I understand that you are to take charge of Mrs. Hurst's plans on the Coast. If I am correctly informed permit me to extend to you my sincerest congratulations.

I trust that when you have determined the date of your passing through Chicago for the West you will give me due notice that I may be sure to be here.

Sincerely yours,
Geo. A. Dorsey
