My dear Professor:-
I received a note from Prof. [[?]] last evening stating that the quarterly report is at
Mr. Saville sailed yesterday so I am now supposed to handle the wheel of the Department until the time for my departure. I am so busy preparing for the start that I hardly know which way to turn. I should be with Mr. Hyde at the present moment but have taken time to dash off a report for the second quarter. I enclose this and hope it will assist you in making out your report. I have asked Miss Percy to take char[[ge]] the time sheet as I am away from the Museum.
