My dear Dr.Pepper:
Thank you ever so! I am sorry to have been a bother to you, but through your kind offices a very curious tangle has been fully straightened out. It was good of you to run Bandelier down at once, and I thank you heartily. The result is entirely satisfactory. 
Everything is sailing along finely here. We have just founded a society of the Archaeological Institute under the happiest auspices and with the best people in the town in the harness. It is going to be a very live thing here. 
We often miss you and I wish you and the Lovely Girl could be here on the 13th when we are --
