My dear Pepper,

The mail is about to start but I want to drop you a line about an extraordinary navajo blanket that I expect to bring on with me in a few days and that I have rescued from the open market. It is an exact reproduction of a medicine man's sand-painting and as you can appreciate is [[?]] a museum specimen.
