the card catalogue of the vessels and about five hundred mounted photographs to accompany the pottery cards. I am somewhat cramped now as the bill for cards, printing, and prints will soon be due so if you can find it convenient to send me a check in the near future it will enable me to get my head above water.

I am very anxious to have one card catalogue ready for Mrs. Hearst when she returns from Europe. Mrs. de Forest has started for Mexico for a six weeks trip and while she is away she has arranged to have her stenographer give some of her time to the de Forest work in the Museum.

Mrs. de Forest will be in a position to see a great many of the places from whence came the Mexican pottery. They invited Saville to go with them.

Have just mailed a list of the members of the A.A.A. to Dr. Newcomb for are in relation to the coming congress in St Louis. From present indications you will be tied to the states this summer.

Hoping to hear from you soon,

Sincerely,

Geo. H. Pepper.
