Ditas. Struck Merida at the time of the annual Carnival so wasted me a couple of days to see it. Through ignorance missed the mestizo ball one of the greatest sights in the country. Imagine my surprise at being thrown in a city as gay as a foreign capital, during Carnival time, when I expected to all most rough it. Merida is certainly a great town.
