Mrs. Zelia Nuttall,
Casa Alvarado,
Coyoacan, D. F., Mexico.

My dear Mrs. Nuttall:-
Your letter of the 28th ultimo reached me this morning, and I have sent checks to Dr. L. O. Howard in payment of A.A.A.S. dues for 1904.

You state in your letter that you had assumed that the A.A.A.S. dues were $3.00 and not $5.00. Your assumption was correct, the dues are as follows:

A.A.A.S $3.00
American Anthropological Association 1.00
American Folk-Lore Society 3.00
American Ethnological Society 5.00

Your former check covered the dues for the three last named Societies, leaving $1.00 over, this, with the check just received ($2.00), completes the payment for the four Societies, and you should receive the receipt from Dr. Howard for the first named Association in the very near future.

Hoping that you will command me if I can help you in any way in the future, and wishing you every success in the work that you have in hand at present, I beg to remain,

Very sincerely yours,

(C.H.P.)
