My dear Mr. Strowger:-
     Your letter concerning my cartridge roll holder reached me in due time, and I have been endeavoring to see my way clear to let you know how many rolls of film I would require for this summer's trip. as matters are so uncertain, owning to pressure of accumulated business in the past, I cannot state definitely when I can start for the west, and as the length of time that I can remain would have to determine the number of films that I could use, I feel that I shall have to use the regular rolls when I do start, unless you decide to manufacture the six exposure rolls for your regular trade.
     As the time for departure is uncertain, I think it would be best to send the roll holder to me c/o of the Museum, which will enable me to do a little experimenting with it before I begin my summer's work.
     You probably remember my enthusiasm concerning the little No. 1A.F.P Kodak which I took West with me last summer. I regret to say that my much prized little machine was stolen a few days ago. I shall have to make good in some way, and hope to be able to test a number of cameras before starting, in order that I may find a lens that will approach my former one in some degree of sharpness and
