AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY,
77th STREET AND EIGHTH AVENUE.

#37

NEW YORK, Sept. 7th, 1904.

DEPARTMENT OF ARCHAEOLOGY

Mr. George H. Pepper,
Alvarado Hotel,
Albuquerque, N. M.

My dear Pepper:-

I enclose a card of Miss Mary E. Avery and a note which she left at the Museum yesterday, but am writing her to day telling where you are, and giving her your address.

Your letter from up State was received and I handed the matter over to Prof. Bumpus.

Saville is at St.Louis, being juror, so the place here is pretty quiet. Boas, Herdlicka, Nuttall, McCurdy, Kelsey, Foster, and my old friend Mrs. Henderson, are also jurors in Anthropology.

Kindly remember me to your wife, and believe me with best wishes,

Yours very sincerely,
Harlan I. Smith
