My dear George H: 

Your letter, dated Sept. 13th, and postmarked Sept. 15th, received here today, and I assure you it was very good news that you wrote. Mr. Hyde unexpectedly called me up this morning, so we had one of our luncheons together and went over your latest serial story. Both he and myself are delighted beyond expression with the bargain that you made at Hubbells. 

Judging from the description you certainly got a treasure for a small amount of money. We have tried in every way to wire you to the money in care of the Wells, Fargo people at Gallup, as you suggested, but find it impossible to do so, so I am enclosing a
