My dear Pepper or "Pepps":-

In my last letter I think I forgot to acknowledge your cheque drawn to the order of MacMillan Co. for #3, in payment of your volume, Bandelier's Final Report, No. 3.  I will inclose it with my cheque to-morrow.

There is no other word in particular, except that things are going along quietly enough at the Museum, and if the E. B. P. pans out as I hope for I will have an interesting surprise for you upon your return.

I expect to dine with Mr. & Mrs. Heye this coming Friday at their new hogan.
