           Hyde promised to take up the matter of the meeting next December immediately with Seville and get the matter in shape at the earliest possible time. I will be only too glad to give him what little assistance I can in getting the matter straightened out.
           Now that you are on the ground, you can probably judge when it will be that you will return. Let us know as soon as you can make any where near a close prediction.
           I don't think there is any more news to tell you, although I have had a couple of long talks and heard a lot of interesting gossip from Andrus, but it will keep until you return.
           I am very much pleased the other day to receive my first letter from Hubbell, in which he was kind enough to invite me to join the party for the snake dance next
