and both Heye and I think it will be better not to say anything at this end about getting the material in, as you can probably work the deal yourself after returning, and we might make a slip-up on it somehow.
In a couple of days I will go to the Museum and straighten out the list of subjects, etc., for the Philadelphia Meeting, and am planning to put in a day or two there, if necessary, if you cannot possibly get back in time. You will see by the inclosed circulars how far the thing is under way. I shall probably write again to you to Albuquerque.
Banham is expected home to-day or to-morrow, and I shall be might glad to see him. The business here does not seem to be doing much.
I recently dined with Mr. Heye and the gentlemen of the brokerage firm of Battles, Heye & Harrison, the especial occasion being the birthday of Mrs. Heye. I also met his mother and her mother, Mrs. Williams. It was certainly a great blowout, and I spent about five hours laughing, which did me no harm.
Everything in the little business is going nicely, and there is still plenty of work to be done.
Sincerely and warmly, your friend,
