Transcription Notes:
[[obverse image]] two people in a canoe in the water. One appears to be a man and is rowing the boat and the other appears to be a woman holding an open umbrella above her and her other arm is dipped into the water. [[reverse image]] two men smoking pipes are sitting on the edge of boat that might be pulled ashore and there is a setting sun behind them. [[note]] The writing on the upper reverse is very difficult to decipher. I speak German fairly well but it's not typical German. My mother is a native speaker and thinks it may be in Platdeutsch
