Mr E.B. Baker who by orders No 15 from This office has possession of the papers and funds of the firm of Murphy. Manheimer. He will at once deliver to the Treasury Agent through Mr E. Murphy the amount required to pay the rent of the store up to this date.

Received Natchez Feby 22 1865 of E.B. Baker for the sum of Four hundred Dollars in full for Rent to Feby 1st 1865 of James Carradines store late in the occupancy of E. Murphy and Mayer and Manheimer doing business in the name of E. Murphy and which is the same sum placed in said Bakers hands by the Referees in the matter of the settlement of the business matters between said Murphy and Manheimer and Mayer for that purpose when required so to do by the authorities
