I Samuel C. Moore Sr. do Solemnly Swear (or affirm) in the presence of almighty God that I will hereafter faithfully Support, protect and defend the Constitution of the United State and the Union of the States [[strikethrough]] home of [[/strikethrough]] there under and that I will in like manner abide by & faithfully support all Laws & proclamations which have been made during the existing rebellion with reference to the emansipation [[emancipation]] of slaves.
