The steamer is expected to sail tomorrow aft.  One has to show tax receipt before being allowed to leave, & if an alien, must pay tax on his income for this past half year. A hugh [[strikethrough]] crowd [[/strikethrough]] string of Dagos etc., were lined up at the Custom House this a.m.  American citizens were let through quickly however.

This prohibition business is going to increase pacific[[?]] travel, that is it will as soon as normal conditions return, if that is in our day. San Domingo will not be a popular resort, as there are no hotels worth speaking of, & the Clyde Steamers are rotten bad. It will boom Cuba however.
