Dearest Mom & Unc,
Hi! Sorry for not writing sooner. I just got settled down. I must tell you everything about the trip now.
After we took of from H.K., we flew directly to Tokyo. There we stopped for nearly an hour. Nancy met me there. Poor thing! It was 2 in the morning when I arrived. I gave her the records and the bracelet, etc. We had a full plane so we flew to Wake Island & refilled there. Then to Honolulu. Went through customs, and then had something to eat at the canteen. Yesterday, Mike & Ray took us to San Francisco & then dinner. Afterwards they took us back to school at 6:15 p.m. Monday a holiday, we're going out with them again. It'll be the last time we'll see them.
Today, Saturday, we're at Seacliff. The whole boarding school's here. It's so cold that most of us are sitting here in the buses. Tomorrow we have some sort of activities and we can't go out.
I'm rooming with Maggie now in the Junior Wing. We're getting along fine.
Sister Francis Lorretta has fixed my program. I don't have to take Biology because she said Physics is better for me. She asked me [[strikethrough]] if [[/strikethrough]] what I was
