Uncle Jack arrived yesterday. I told Gerry to pick up the package & send it to me. Oh! there was a dance for the resident students yesterday. I invited a few boys & the other Chinese girls asked a few boys to come. There wasn't enough boys though. 99 girls to 80 boys. We all had a very nice time. Sister Marion & Sister Frances Lorreta acted as chaperones. It started at 8:30 p.m. [[strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] & ended at 11:30 p.m.
With all this happy news, I have some unhappy things to tell you. I wrote to Pat to ask him for some money so I could go shopping. He refused to give it to me that day. He made all sorts of excuses. I started quarelling with him & I told him to send all the money to you and to send him to the school. If you get wired the money to sister Marion, I'll be ever so happy. If I want to shop, I'll ask Sister Marion for to money because she gives any amount I want. It'll be more convenient for me. Besides, I am not ever to speak to him or go to his place again. I'm fed up with Mini & Pat, etc. Please write to Pat and tell him to send the money to Sister Marion.
As I said in the other letter, I have asked a friend who studies in the East Coast
