Dear Sir:

We are pleased to inform you that Miss Lee Ya-ching, noted Chinese aviatrix who has been actively engaged in War Relief Work in China since the outbreak of hostilities, has been appointed by the Kwangtung Province Joint Committee for Medical Relief as a delegate to tour the United States for the cause of war relief and will be passing through Manila about September 23, by the Pan-American Clipper.

Miss Lee Ya-ching is the well-known young Chinese aviatrix whose exploits both in China and the United States have appeared in newspaper headlines. She was trained at the Boeing School of Aeronautics and graduated in the transport class in 1935. She holds the U.S Government certificate for Private Pilot's license. She is the only Chinese girl to become a member of the "Ninety-niners and "Caterpiller" clubs. She qualified for membership of the latter exclusive organization when she was thrown from her plane in a practice flight over San Francisco Bay. She immediately opened her parachute and though not a good swimmer managed to remain afloat until a Navy cutter came to her rescue.

Miss Lee has voluntarily offered her services to tour the American continent for the cause of her suffering countrymen and we feel confident that you will extend to her every assistance.

Thanking you in anticipation of your co-operation, I am,
Yours very sincerely,
Percy Chen, Editor.

Need some help with transcribing the Chinese characters on the first line. Traditionally, Chinese people read from right to left, this stopped in the 1950s. The Chinese translates roughly into international news supply agency.
