Dear Miss Lee:

This is to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of May 29, 1939.

In concerning your plane I have consult it with Bishop through long distance phone, and it is his opinion that you can return the plane as Mr. Beech requested. We can cancel out Cincinnati, O., as so far we have not heard from them whether there is any preparation made for your visit. If it is possible you have better to take in Pittsburgh, since they already informed us that arrangement being made to welcome you there. Then you can go to Baltimore by train, either from New York City or any where else as you wish. To me it is advisable for you to fly back to New York City if possible as the publicity there will worth some thing, especially if you are going to carry on your work there.

Enclosed please find a check of $100.00 for your use. Your acknowledgement of its receipt will be appreciated.

I believe Dr. Pan has not paid the due amount for the insurance, will you be kind enough to send me the bill which you received recently so I can check it over from the book.

We shall write to Mr. Beech to express our gratitude for his kindness to lend you the plane as you requested.

In the future, any telegram you send to here please address to Rev. John Mao unless it is something you wish to have Bishop's personel [[personal]] direction, as the Bishop will be away for about half month in June.
