Miss Lee Ya Ching,
c/o United China Relief,
1790 Broadway,
New York, New York.

Dear Miss Lee:

On behalf of the Hackensack Community and War Chest Campaign Committee, I want to thank you for the very helpful address which you made at our opening dinner last Thursday night. Several of those present have said that they wished you had talked longer because they were fascinated by the story which you told, not only of the tremendous need which exists among your people, but also of the valiant fight which they have been and are still putting up against our mutual enemy, the Japanese.

I am sure that you inspired all of those present to not only contribute more generously themselves, but also to work with greater determination in our Campaign which is now underway.

You will be glad to know, I am sure, that we are very optimistic about the prospects for our Campaign, and that we hope within a week's time to be able to advise the United China Relief Committee that we have reached our objective and will be able to forward them our share of the National goal.

Cordially yours,

David Rash
