222 Central Park South New York, N.Y. Mr. W. Beech Beech Aircraft Corporation Wichita, Kansas My dear Mr. Beech: In replying to your kind letter of September 11, I hasten to inform you that due to the pressure of business during the recent few weeks in this part of the country, I regret very much not having been able to come to Wichita to visit you, as well as to take the jewelry I left with you. At the present moment, there are still quite a few things demanding my personal attention here. I will therefore appreciate very much if you would kindly issue instructions to have my things sent to me at the above address. I was disappointed in not having seen you and your charming wife in Cleveland during the National Air Race. I enjoyed the race exceedingly. I wish to again thank you for your generosity in donating the use of your Stinson Airplane during the drive for funds. I am happy to say the tour was very successful. With my best wishes, I remain Yours sincerely, P.S. I am sending you under separate cover a little souvenir for Mrs. Beech. Lee Ya-Ching
