May 25, 1939

Dear Miss Lee:

I am very happy to hear you have has a successful tour of good will flight through the United States and Canada. Hearty congratulations for your courage and efficiency.

As there will be quite a number of care waiting for you on Sunday, it will be appreciated if you would kindly reply me by wire the exact time of your arrival at the Chicago airport, so that I can inform the Chinese community accordingly.

It is the preference of the local committee that you reach there here at one P.M. Central standard time (that is railroad time). Please let me know whether it is possible and satisfactory to you.

With best wishes.

Yours very sincerely,
