American Bureau for Medical Aid to China
57 William Street
New York City, N.Y.

Dear Sirs:

In view of the difficulty in obtaining permission from the Department of State for my contemplated flight to Latin-America sponsored by the American Bureau for Medical Aid to China, I wish to give notice that as from today, the Bureau may consider the sponsorship of my flight ended.

The Bureau may take whatever action in accordance with its own regulations to make it valid.

Since the Bureau has terminated its sponsorship, I wish to declare null and void the agreement entered into on February 10, 1940, between the American Bureau for Medical Aid to China, Inc., Mr. Chen Kuo-min, and myself. From now on, it is understood that whatever action I take will be on my own responsibility.

May I suggest that the various donors towards this project be notified and to ascertain from them as to the disposition of the various monies and equipments.

I wish to thank the Bureau for its sponsorship thus far and to assure you that what you have done for me is greatly appreciated. I hope that in the future that there will be opportunities for us to co-operate again.

Yours sincerely,

Lee Ya Ching
