Dear Miss Lee,

It is indeed gratifying to know that you have taken the disappointment in connection with the projected flight in such a tolerant spirit.

The matter of the termination of our sponsorship and the question of the disposition of the monies donated, will be taken up at the next meeting of the Board of Directors, within the next few days.

I assure you that most of the members of the board were hoping the flight could be carried through, but circumstances beyond our control forced us to forego this opportunity. I hope that t some future time we shall be able to work together to serve our country.

Sincerely yours,
