Subject Immediate Events

Wednesday August 12 6:30 P.M.- Appear at 1133 Broadway (between 27th and 28th Streets) at the Office of the UNITED OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL WORKERS- Local 16- for a PHOTOGRAPH. Ask for Miss Ann Berenholz or Miss Marcia Gresser.

Thursday Night August 13 8:00 P.M.- Be the main SPEAKER at FLORAL PARK, Long Island at the Village Hall. At this meeting will be about 250 leading citizens of Floral Park (men and women) who will be the WORKERS in the UCR drive there. These people will personally solicit the contributions from the townspeople in a special drive. 
You are asked to inspire these 250 to start their work-and to inform them about China and UCR.

Dr. Covell, her husband will meet you at the train. Take the 7:19 P.M. train from Pennsylvania Station on the Long Island Rail-Road for Floral Park, Long Island.

You will arrive in Floral Park a few minutes before eight. Mrs. Covell will suggest to you the best train for return.

Saturday Morning, Aug. 15 10:30 A.M.- You are asked to broadcast from a station in Brooklyn on a Student Hour. Miss Kirchener of our Radio Department will have further information on this soon.
