Dear Miss Lee: United China Relief, as you know, is trying in as many ways as possible to focus the attention of the American people upon Free China and the Chinese people. We have just arranged the participation of United China Relief in a radio event which we believe will have an unusually large national audience, and it is in regard to this that we are writing to ask your cooperation. The popular quizz program, True or False, which is aired every Monday night at 8:30 P.M. over WJZ has asked us to obtain for them a team of six young Chinese women who can participate in a forthcoming quizz program. This particular program probably will be put on either on August 18 or August 25th. Will you do us the honor of being one of the six to participate in this program? This program, one of the better radio programs, enjoys great national prestige, and you will be making an important contribution to the general purposes of the United China Relief campaign if you will graciously consent to being one fo the team of young Chinese women. If you can and will do this for China and for us, will you kindly fill out the enclosed card and mail it to us IMMEDIATELY. Time is important in these radio matters. We shall greatly appreciate your cooperation. Sincerely Frances Mason FRANCES MASON Publicity Department FM:p PARTICIPATING AGENCIES: - American Bureau for Medical Aid to China - American Committee for Chinese War Orphans - Associated Boards for Christian Colleges in China - China Aid Council - China Emergency Relief Committee - Church Committee for China Relief - Indusco (American Committee in Aid of Chinese Industrial Cooperatives.)
