Miss Lee Ya-Ching
c'o Mrs. Pei,
101 West 55th St.,
New York City.

Dear Miss Ya-Ching:

In order to help China, on September 24th we are taking over the preview of Prince Artchil Gourielli's new and very smart Apothecary Shop in East 55th Street. It is to be the benefit for United China Relief.

The Prince and Princess are opening the whole building to us, and providing the champagne and a supper-party. There will be a very lively entertainment.

I hope you will be a patron for the affair. The party is planned to be the first of the season for returning New Yorkers. As we have little time, won't you please send me a wire at United China Relief Headquarters, 285 Madison Avenue, or telephone Murray Hill 3-6835 your acceptance as a patron?

Sincerely yours,
Eline S. Payne
Mrs. Frederick B. Payne
