Attention: Mr. B.A. Garside, Vice President

Your Letter of July 23, 1943

Dear Mr. Garside:

Please note my change of address. I have severed my connections with the B.F. Goodrich Company to accept a position as export manager of Allis-Chalmers Mfg. Co., with headquarters here in Milwaukee, which will henceforth probably remain my home.

I should like very much to offer my services as speaker in this vicinity, however, as my wife and our infant daughter remain in Japanese hands in Manila, I feel it will be necessary to refrain from making general public appearances for the present.

There are hopes they will return if and when the Gripsholm sails again, and should they return to the U.S., I shall be glad to consider your proposals further.

Yours very truly,

Export Manager
General Machinery Division

Dear Ya Ching: If you get into this vicinity, be sure to look me up - Milwaukee Athletic Club. Hope to get to N.Y. shortly and to call you.
Regards, Paul
